It used to work totally fine, but it was damaged long time ago and sat in storage for many years. Today I can not check if it works. Please note that there is a broken part on a bottom of the train (picture 5), but this part is coming with the set so you can glue it and fix the train (two last pictures). Another issue that one of the trains sometimes fall apart separates in wo pieces (upper and bottom) probably needs to be glued as well.
