Lionel Prewar Standard Gauge Early 10 Interurban Set Power & Trail Cars RARE

  
NOTE: Please look at ALL pictures, read description, and follow instructions. This is a very rare set, so be sure of what you are looking at, and ask questions. Unless otherwise specified, nothing has been tested for operation. I simply don't have the time to go through and test and service all these trains.

Here is an an extremely rare and hard to find Lionel Standard Gauge Interurban passenger commuter train set, consisting of a # 10 motorized powered car, and non-powered matching trailer car. The non-powered car is actually rarer than the powered unit.

It is marked Lionel MFG Co. This was acquired from the grandson of the original owner. The owner had this set beautifully restored 50 years ago, as shown.

It bhas been in storage for the last 40 years! I don't have a Standard Gauge layout. The motor ran when I bench tested it with a transformer and test leads. I placed it on a small section of track, and it tried to move, but did not do too much. My test transformer is small and only puts out about 13 to 14 volts, so that may be the issue.

Also, after having been stored all these years, may need service, TLC, adjustment, etc. These are old and will often need tinkering and TLC. I only sell to the USA.

Accordingly, I will need a physical address, NOT a PO Box. PLEASE NOTE: The nature of my work and lifestyle means I'm often gone on small trips away from home.
