LIONEL Pre War 263E GRAY ENGINE With 263W WHISTLE TENDER, Runs Very Good, With Boxes

  

This ran excellent in forward and reverse. Sometimes the front trucks come off the track.

I do not know if the engine and tender were repainted or replaced. They both have paint loss and scratches on them though.

The wire on the whistle is off, it needs to be soldered back on. I did touch the wires on it and it did whistle fine but didn't shut off, maybe because I used the auxiliary wires to try it. The other wire on the tender has a crack in the insulation. Both of them will have to be replaced or repaired. The boxes are in good condition.

The engine box has repairs on the bottom of it.
