Lionel Postwar C7+ Nonpowered 2550 Baggage-mail Budd B&o Rdc-4

  

Very collectable, the most desirable of the four BUDD Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Rail Diesel Cars, the unique Lionel Postwar 2550 nonpowered baggage (RDC-4) car, in excellent plus (C7+) condition. Has operating working couplers on each end and three internal lights. Has a silver painted body with crisp clear blue heat stamped lettering, ornamental horns with complete and all original silhouetted window strips.

Shows little if any wear beyond a small rub marks on top the roof (see images). Lubricated and ready to run, no chips or cracks, all metal frame with complete steps and trucks. Box is a brick, shortcomings noted are writing, some tape/layout residue, a taped torn loose internal coupler flap, one end flap has a pronounced scrape down the middle and one external flap tip is also loose but present.
