HORNBY HITACHI CLASS 395 CITY EXPRESS R1239 TRAIN POWER CAR DUMMY CAR + COACH. Hornby, Hitachi Class 395'City Express', three car train. This three car train has been taken from the R1239 train set by the same name.

The two locos are complete with their expensive-to-replace, pantographs, and both feature white directional lighting - the lights work in the direction of travel and switch off when the loco is travelling in reverse. This train consists of a powered car numbered 140708, a dummy (non-powered) car numbered 220817 and a coach numbered 060378. The power car has a smooth running motor and all three cars are nicely detailed with flush glazing and all metal wheels, and the locos have separately applied windscreen wipers. I also have other matching'City Express' items separatley listed. Please just search'City Express' in my other items. These cars have been taken from a set, so they are not boxed. All of these items are in excellent condition and run well.

Please note that these locos and the coach have a Railroad style Couplings, just like other Hornby Hitachi Class 395 Railroad style locos do. They will not readily couple together with other coupling types.
