2021 "LEGO Monorail" 50th Anniversary Amtrak Locomotive And Coach Car. This LEGO MOC is based on Amtraks 50th Anniversary (1971 - 2021) Locomotive and Streamliner passenger car made for the LEGO Monorail Transportation System. The two chassis were made by cutting and epoxying four 4x20 LEGO Monorail chassis together to create two 4x28 new ones.
This length chassis runs great on my track and gives a more eye pleasing length, though it is not to scale. Every brick is genuine LEGO. The USA flag is inkjet printed on gloss vinyl with most of the decals being Photoshop files cutout with a Cricut Explore Air 2 vinyl cutting machine. A 9 volt battery is located inside the passenger car to power the train.
LEGO MONORAIL MOTOR AND MOTOR COVER NOT INCLUDED. This train will run on any LEGO Monorail track layout.
The preferred LEGO motor for this train is the Monorail Motor 9V with Long Couplings 2684c01b. This train will not run on LEGOs 9 volt, Power Function or Powered Up train tracks.
