Here we have a stunning used and boxed Triang Hornby 00 Gauge R346C Stephenson's Rocket 5 Car Train Set. The set comprises locomotive, tender and three coaches. The locomotive runs in both directions but does need a nudge from time to time to start off but then being 51 years old I need a nudge to get going as well. I have cleaned the wheels and oiled the appropriate places. The tender retains its coupling and hitch to the locomotive.

The three coaches all retain their four buffers, both couplings, clear and present decals. They are called "DESPATCH", "EXPERIENCE" and "TIMES". All comes in their original box which is in excellent condition but the plastic liner is damaged where the loco sits (Pictured). Comes with original servicing sheet and instruction manual dated 10/1/1969 making the set 51 years old. In my opinion the set is in superb condition, it even has the original cardboard outer sleeve which are usually missing. I have taken pictures from every angle so you can appreciate their condition for yourself. Will be securely packed for transit.
