LIONEL TRAIN SET 252 ENGINE WITH CARS 803 804 805 807 NICE SET RUNS LOOK. HERE WE HAVE A LIONEL TRAIN SET TO INCLUDE 252 ENGINE GREEN 803-HOPPER 804-TANK CAR 805-BOX CAR 807-CABOOSE THIS SET IS IN NICE LOOKING CONDITION. THIS SET WAS BEING RESTORED, BUT WAS NOT QUITE FINISHED. THE ENGINE AND CABOOSE HAVE BEEN FINISHED.

THEY HAVE NEW COUPLERS EXCEPT FOR THE HOPPER CAR WHICH HAS 2 DIFFERENT TYPES OF COUPLERS ON IT. THE ENGINE LOOKS TO HAVE NEW WHEELS AND PARTS FOR THE MOTOR. THE OTHER 3 CARS HAVE NOT BEEN RESTORED COMPLETELY. THEY DO HAVE SOME PLAYED WITH & WEAR ISSUES DUE TO AGE. THEY HAVE SOME MARKS, BUT NOTHING BAD.

THERE IS DENTS TO THE END OF THE ROOF OF THE CABOOSE. THE BOTTOM OF THE CABOOSE WAS NOT REPAINTED VERY WELL. THERE IS SOME PAINT LOSS. THIS HAS BEEN TESTED AND THIS DOES RUN. THIS DID RUN IN FORWARD AND REVERSE. THIS IS MANUAL FOR CHANGING DIRECTIONS. THIS WILL NEED TO BE CLEANED & SERVICED TO GET THIS BACK TO GOOD RUNNING CONDITION AGAIN. THE HEADLIGHT DID WORK WHEN THIS WAS TESTED.

OVERALL THIS IS A NICE LOOKING TRAIN SET EVEN WITH THE FEW ISSUES THESE ALL HAVE TO THEM. T HIS IS A ESTATE SALE FIND.
