This is a Lionel O-gauge GENTLY USED train set, like NEW condition, in original boxes. Issued to commemorate the United States Bicentennial, t. He complete set included the #1776 U36B Diesel locomotive, 13 boxcars numbered 7601 through 7613 and the #7600 lighted Caboose. The diesel and caboose carry the spectacular star and stripes markings of the special Seaboard train that toured the country.

Each boxcar commemorates the original 13 states in order of their admission to the Union, with attractive colorful decorations and descriptions of the state flower, state bird, state tree and motto. The engine features metal chassis, operating knuckle couplers, working headlight, transformer controlled forward, neutral and reverse, and die-cast trucks.

The lighted caboose features illuminated windows and marker lights, metal wheels, authentic trucks, needle-point bearings and remote control coupler. The boxcar features sliding doors, plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.
