This awesome attractive set was produced by Lionel in 1978 and then again 1980. The powered locomotive features powerful dependable Pullmor Motor in conjunction with tire-traction for tremendous pulling power, working headlights, 3-position reversing unit for forward/neutral/reverse operations, illuminated interior, extensive realistic detailing, authentic markings, operating knuckle couplers, die-cast trucks, metal wheels, & metal chassis. The passenger coaches feature illuminated interiors, extensive realistic detailing, authentic markings, operating knuckle couplers, die-cast trucks, metal wheels, & metal chassis.

Locomotive ran when bench tested. Set will operate with "0-27" & "O" gauge Lionel, K-Line, MTH, Williams, and others. Comes with original boxes and inserts. However the boxes do have some minor water damage, the trains are not damaged from this.
