I tested the loco and tender (tender is powered) and it ran forward and reverse slowly. It has been in storage for a while according to the original owner, so it will need a lubrication for optimal performance, but it works.

Bachmann must have collaborated on this set with Jouef trains and did not disclose it, but the engine, tender and 4 passengers cars appear to be Jouef cars. Very nicely detailed cars and appear in great condition. Box has shelf wear as shown. Has HO track, but that appears to not be original as its some Bachmann and some atlas track.
